70 Year Old College Channelises Zoom Virtual Communication to Reinforce Teamwork and Associations


Introduction

A unit of Sri SS Jain Educational Society in Chennai, the college was established in 1952 and is affiliated with the University of Madras. It offers several programmes in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams with its 70-year vintage, allowing students the option of taking up courses in Tamil.

The college has a huge campus facilitated with well-equipped laboratories, a library, research centres, playgrounds, an indoor stadium, placement cell, and hostels for women and men. The infrastructure is sustained using eco-friendly practices.

Its continual growth over the decades, faculty recruitment for various disciplines, and increasing association with other entities compelled the institution to improve its collaboration abilities.
