Established in 2017, The company is a non-banking finance company (NBFC) registered with RBI and specialises in providing loans for education. It believes that every student has right to quality education and makes it financially feasible for them to pursue their dreams. The loans are available for studies both in India and abroad. Refinance facilities are provided to students who can no longer afford to pay higher interest rates on loans taken from other ebtities.
The NBFC also provides funding for establishment of educational institutions that include preschools, K-12 schools, and academies with hostel facilities. Such enterprises may apply for land loans, construction loans, and loan refinance.
In addition to its reasonable interest rates, the organisation is known for quick loan sanctions, flexible repayment plans, and acceptance of multiple co-borrowers for higher loan eligibility.
Business Challenge
Siloed applications for work – Although the routine workflows involved the use of Word docs, spreadsheets, and presentation apps among others, employees were using different versions of such tools which in turn impacted productivity.
Weak collaboration – The usage of multiple apps for emails, chat, VoIP calls, and video conferencing also resulted in poor communication especially when some executives were working from home.
Security concerns – Due to the variety of applications used from devices with different operating systems, it was difficult to ensure the security of data stored within the files.
Need for scalability – The company’s operations had been expanding and it sought a cloud platform on which it will be easy to add new accounts while enabling all users to have the same applications for work.

When the NBFC came to us for the same service, we provided them a package with the required number of licenses and helped them configure the Microsoft 365 on both Windows and Mac OS devices.
With the installation of cloud platform, employees got access to the latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams and other MS Office applications. These were automatically updated as and when newer versions rolled out.
Thanks to Microsoft 365's pay-as-you-go subscription strategy, the organization could also keep its expenses on software usage low. - For emails, users had MS Outlook and for instant messaging, file transfers, audio/video group calls, they had MS Teams – the collaboration became more streamlined with everyone using common tools.
- Access to Microsoft 365 was protected by multifactor authentication (MFA) and this cloud platform came with in-built security features to help the company avoid using firewalls that eat into disk space and are not always reliable.
- The company could easily scale its usage of the cloud platform by purchasing more licenses for new users and also by moving to a more feature-rich plan offering additional applications.
