The organisation is a registered West Bengal trust focusing on educating minorities and weaker sections of society. It also contributes to infrastructural and social development activities by actively supporting projects for roadways, drinking water supply, streetlights, and vaccination drives. Another principal objective is to improve regional agricultural practices by training local farmers.
Over the years, the trust has partnered with 67 institutes to fulfil its goals around primary and higher school education, technical workshops, and skill development.
The team uses several desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers to conduct its training programmes and organise other educational, cultural, and social activities. A strong cybersecurity system was essential to protect these IT assets from viruses and real-time online threats.
The management team approached Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) to check for available solutions. The flexibility and scalability of the cloud-based endpoint protection in our portfolio looked promising, and the charity organisation asked us to deploy it for their network.
Business Challenges
The NGO was keen on securing the hundreds of devices used in running its mission since it accessed various websites and applications and received emails from known and new entities. Choosing an enterprise-grade endpoint security solution was essential because the mishmash of varied content and links created a risky virtual environment calling for effective management.

The organisation was provided with an intuitive web interface for centralised visibility of all devices protected by Endpoint Security and reports on the threats averted. Any policy violations or unusual changes in a device’s status triggered an email response to the administrator.
The solution is scalable to cover more users in future. TTBS additionally provides on-call services to the customer for all technical queries.
