Established Garment Manufacturer Unites Factory, Warehouse, and Office on a Private Network, by Leveraging Smart VPN

TTBS provided its MPLS-based Smart VPN solution to connect all three work locations owned by the organisation. Using MPLS’ hub-and-spoke topology, TTBS solution architects set up the connectivity links for the warehouse on RF media, for the head office on copper last-mile, and the factory on LTE with SIM bonding solution.

All employees at the spoke locations (warehouse and factory) could connect seamlessly with the hub (head office) on this private enterprise network with high uptime and redundancy. Because MPLS avoids complex lookups in the routing table, communications became more efficient.

Smart VPN addressed the issues that the garment manufacturing company had been facing:

• The high-bandwidth apps now performed faster and could be accessed instantly from any location.
• There was a noticeable improvement in network uptime, as the TTBS team monitored it round-the-clock, ensuring recovery in less than 50 milliseconds in case there was a connectivity problem.
• The VPN, being a private enterprise network, was not exposed to the risks of the public internet.
