The customer is an IT infrastructure provider in the field of network monitoring and desktop management. They work with clients across a range of industries providing them design solutions that maximise the value, efficiency and performance of their network operations, data centres, servers, storage systems and cloud computing. They support clients in optimising their business performance.
Business Challenges
The customer required a stable, secure connection for over 500 users of their end customer, in 36 branches spread across India, to access the centralised SAP server and other applications hosted in DC. The end customers’ employees were working from their homes due to the COVID-19 situation, which required safe access, with better uptime and SLA.
TTBS Solution
Tata Tele Business Services proposed:
- A secure, enterprise-grade MPLS VPN solution with a hub and spoke topology
- Remotely located employees of the end customer will have access to the hub with a 100 Kbps/50 Mbps spoke bandwidth, based on the use case, to get access to SAP and other business applications hosted at the TCL Data Centre at VSB, Chennai.
- The network will use IPSec in the encryption mechanism, on a dedicated private route to provide the best security.
- Work from home (WFH) employees will use their network (home Wi-Fi, broadband, 3G or 4G) as the last mile connectivity to reach the service gateway—Fortinet Concentrator.
- TTL will provide complete managed services and supply, install and maintain end routers.
- To be verified with the client. While the first sentence refers to TTL customerSquare Computers, the second sentence seems to refer to Square computers’ customer whose employees WFH.
