Business Challenge
The world of logistics is becoming increasingly complex, parallel to the platter of services offered by the company The customer sought fully secured connectivity with the production server They wanted 100 Mbps Internet with Unified threat management as a bundle
Since the employees needed instant and efficient data access, the hub had to be accessible from all remote locations in a secured manner
200 IPSec (SSL VPN user) were required, with additional 24 IPs to be assigned for one to one production servers The system had to be monitored, managed and maintained by the service provider
TTBS Solution
- TTBS delivered Managed Internet Leased Line ( of 100 Mbps with Fortinet Firewall
- The Firewall UTM feature covered traffic inspection, IPS signatures, suspicious traffic protocols, antivirus, anti malware, web filtering and application control
- TTBS conducted the VPN configuration on the on premises Firewall
- We offered 30 WAN IP pool and 27 LAN IP pool to support the additional IP requirement
- The TTBS team ensured access to the server from outside with public IP for employees, with NAT to the private IP Pool
- TTBS could address on demand requests for Port Management and NAT by raising a ticket on the iManage portal.
After entering these credentials, the user has access to the customer’s system almost as if they were at their desk For example, if an employee needed to contact a client when away from the office, they can dial the unique number, enter the feature code (#XXXX) enter the PIN (XXXX) and proceed to place a call This way, the client will not view the employee’s personal contact information, but instead the official company information
