Based in Pune, Mylab Discovery is an ISO 9001, ISO 13485 certified biotechnology company developing and commercialising medical diagnostic kits. It helps healthcare service providers to obtain timely, accurate and actionable results on tests of different medical conditions.
The organisation is focused on discovering new clinical frontiers with design and delivery of solutions that support early diagnosis of illnesses as well as the selection of therapies that treat them. It also works for effective monitoring of patients for signs of disease recurrence so that medication can be provided to prevent worsening of conditions.
Driven by science and technology, the company is credited with the launch of India’s first COVID-19 testing equipment for self-use, called COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Self-Test Kit. Business Challenge
- Slow internet service – With heavier workload during Covid-19 breakout, the research team’s communication was often impacted by slow internet speed, and troubleshooting took time due to lockdown issues.
- Not enough security – Cyberthreats had increased during the pandemic phase and the company’s IT team was not satisfied with the security in online connectivity.
- Need to monitor analytics– The organisation did not have a dedicate portal for quick insights into internet speed, bandwidth consumption and other factors that could be used to ensure that mission-critical applications were functioning efficiently.
