Introduction
The customer is a Gujarat-based NBFC with over three decades of experience in its segment. One of the company’s popular service offering is the provision of loans to SMEs for three-wheelers and four-wheelers used in business operations.
Business Challenge
The company needed an effective work force management solution with the ability to track its people in real-time. It was unable to check if the employees were working from its office, the automobile showrooms across the city, or were on the field. Attendance and leave record management were haphazard.
Also, there was no way to maintain data of the distance travelled by employees for official duties. The organisation wanted to use a system whereby managers could get alerts when their team members reached their workplaces. It also preferred reliable post-sale support from the service provider.
TTBS Solution
TTBS offered its IoT-based work force management system to the customer. The solution’s GPS tracking service enabled administrators/team leaders to track employees in real-time. The organisation also got to know the distance travelled by each worker.
The solution incorporated geofencing with which administrators could ascertain if their sales executives were in office or on the field, and that they were within their work zones’ pre-defined boundaries.
Using this work force management system, the employees could also mark their attendance with data, time and work location for each business day.
