Secure Connectivity Enabled Between Azure Cloud Server and Co-Operative Bank Branches
Introduction
Founded in 1995, the customer is a registered cooperative bank based in Pune and the surrounding suburban areas.
Business Challenges
The customer had migrated their Core Banking Software to Microsoft Azure, and hence was looking for secure and reliable connectivity with the cloud server. They wanted to optimise the performance of their cloud-hosted applications and were also looking for stringent SLA parameters.
TTBS Solution
TTBS provided the secure connect solution to the customer, which is a part of TTBS’s unmanaged services. Secure connect was implemented with Dual Hub, wherein the cloud .
Server would act as the primary hub, while the bank HO would function as the secondary hub.
An Aggregation Network-to-Network- Interface (NNI) was placed at Mumbai, while the cloud server was placed in Pune. The minimum bandwidth provided was 10 Mbps.
Benefits
- TTBS’s Secure Connect ensured a safe linkage between the bank branches and cloud servers. This network minimised the chances of cyberattacks and secured the data of the bank and its customers.
- Secure Connect enabled the optimum performance of the customer’s applications, such as faster processing, less buffering, quick accessibility etc., due to the private connectivity between bank branches and the cloud server.
