Umesh Mehta - Research Head and Chief Investment Adviser at Samco Securities Ltd., said "What would happen to the future of workforces?" - was the question that was also asked during World War 1; when men and the public in large numbers had participated in fighting the war and women had filled up the void and were able to surprisingly do the same kind of work, just like men. After this, Britain had given voting rights to women above the age of 30 with the property. Thus, work from home is going to stay and a good number of employees who have the bargaining power will demand the same. The hybrid work model will become the permanent one, post the ongoing pandemic.
