SIP Trunk adoption is at a growing phase and would lay a strong foundation to unified communications encouraging collaboration. However currently due to India’s regulatory landscape; the integration of Internet with PSTN and centralized SIP architecture is not possible. But this is expected to change with liberalization of government regulations going ahead in future.
