Introduction
The customer is a public limited company that consolidates multiple healthcare services under one corporate division. With the experiences gained by the group through its diverse activities, it aims to create dedicated institutions catering to various health-related problems in the society. It has already set up a multispecialty hospital in fulfilment of its objectives.
Business Challenges
The company’s workforce had been using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud solutions from multiple locations. They wanted to ensure that their connection with this public cloud platform was genuinely secure and scalable.
- The top priority was to have a service provider who would manage the network completely and monitor it proactively with an end-to-end SLA.
- The company’s operations were being run largely on the public cloud infrastructure. Given the lack of security, it preferred to have a private cloud segment.
- The involvement of multiple service providers in fulfilling the company’s cloud connectivity needs made things chaotic. This also resulted in an inadequate focus on the organisation’s primary revenue-generating activities.
A secure connectivity channel was needed to privatise a section of the public cloud for our customer’s business processes. As per the industry trends, this could be achieved with Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology.
TTBS Solution
To work in a secure cloud environment, companies need a private network that connects not only their data centres and offices but is also linked to the cloud provider’s data centres. TTBS made this feasible for the customer with our Secure Cloud Connect that builds a direct private connection between leading public cloud services while also optimising and securing the internal user network.
- With the deployment of Secure Cloud Connect, our customer could securely connect to AWS over an MPLS channel.
- We also used hub connect, which is a unique point-to-multipoint connectivity solution for enterprises. It was a secure, reliable, and scalable way to link multiple company offices while ensuring dedicated access to AWS’ cloud services.
- As the dual hub structure deployed at the Gurgaon and Bangalore was built on a secure MPLS network, the internet leased line (ILL) traffic could route from the Gurgaon hub to all spoke locations over MPLS.
TTBS provided Secure Connect as a customised solution to the organisation with hassle-free configuration on their existing hardware. After the successful deployment of this service, we also took the responsibility of managing and monitoring the network under a comprehensive SLA.
