Remote working was just a thought for many of us in India, but now the pandemic has made it a reality and made us learn to adapt with it. As business and IT leaders, most of us realized that even despite remote working, employees were productive, SLAs were met and business continuity could be managed well.
This brought the thought of Hybrid Ecosystem even in the long run, where organizations are now moving from completely work from office to the concept of Hybrid work culture. While mission critical job roles continue to operate from office and teams who could support businesses from remote can continue to work remotely or on rotation.
Concept is certainly innovative, because it creates room for more flexibility, productivity & efficiencies but certainly makes a job for technology leader tougher. Now, as IT leader, one needs to relook at the strategies, which can be quickly adopted and mingle with the current approach, without creating any disturbance to the business ecosystem.
